You may wonder, “How do I know it’s an announcement post?”

WELL, YOU’RE READING AN ANNOUNCEMENT POST RIGHT NOW. I always write TO MY DEAR READERS at the very beginning of every announcement post. That’s how you know it’s an announcement post.

This time, 230+3 is located on CHAPTER 97 OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT POST.

So when you click on 97, you’ll see it when you scroll down. I linked it as Eating with Xiao Mu Zi.

If you’re still confused, I don’t know how to help you. I can’t link it here since the bots will steal it right away. I’ve tried so many different methods and this seem to be the most effective so far.

The programmer will not be able to predict which announcement posts I’m putting the chapters on, so he/she cannot program around it. If they want to steal, they will have to manually find a person to read all of this to figure it out.

I know it’s very inconvenient and annoying for you guys, but at least it’s still free for you to read, right? Free labour.

Well, you know what, F YOU, READLIGHTNOVEL!! Apparently, I’m not the only one who is going nuts over this. Another translator named Xing also contacted me because he/she is sooooo upset that readlightnovel has such sophisticated bots that steal our work. He/she translates a novel called, “Rock Sugar and Pear Stew” There are only 4 chapters out so far, but it’s such a cute story. I think you guys will like it! The female MC bullies the male MC as a child! I’ll promote this novel after there are more releases. It’s so addictive!

Anyhow, thank you to all of you who participated in the ‘contest’. lol it’s not really a contest but a way for you guys to win chapters.

I’m going to link the fanfic that Mango had written!! Mango actually wrote over a thousand words. Haha. It’s in Dongfang Bai’s perspective and very funny. :P.. he uses a lot of Japanese terms that I have never heard of (since I don’t watch anime), but I did some google search and found out what yandere means 😛 I hope you guys will also check it out!

Chapter 232

I’m not sure if my method is working but I’ll find out in a few days. (Sometimes, the bots do delayed theft). Anyhow, there’s still around 1.5 hours left for the contest but I highly doubt I’ll be receiving any new submissions.

As for right now, I have 7 artwork submissions, 1 fanfic and 1 recording!! Although it’s less than what I had hoped for, I’m really happy that you guys have put so much effort into your work. Thank you to you all!!!

1 x 3 points (recording) = 3
7 x 2 points (artwork) = 14
1 x 1 point (fanfic) = 1

Initially, I said I would give 20 points if you guys could get me 300 LIKES on fb. Currently, I have 241. Since we didn’t meet my target but you guys still tried, I’ll give 15 points.

As for reviews, I had 4 for SG in June, and 9 new ones (facebook + novelupdates). That is a total of 13 points!!

So, in total, that is 46 points!! I’ll be nice and round up to 50. So, you guys will get 5 extra chapters in July!! Not to mention that I raised my rewards for patron to 6 patrons = 1 bonus chapter! (As of right now, I have 30, so that means 5 bonus chapters!)

My food was also almost stuck in my throat because of Suyang’s statement.

For example, in Chinese, it’s just “disappoint”. But in English, there’s disappointed, disappointing, disappointment, and so on. Sometimes, I’m unsure of which to use.

Chinese grammar is so easy!! 我很爱你们 = I very love you all/guys (literal) = I love you guys very much

The word 很 = very (You can type it be typing “hen” in the pinyin keyboard)

我很 hungry = I very hungry = I am hungry
你很 stupid = you very stupid = you are stupid

Basically, we say “I very _________” It is SUPER simple.

Subject goes first at the beginning of a sentence (I/you/he/she/they/name of a person/the person’s title) very  __________________________

So, remember this word! 很很很很很

By the way, starting in July, I’m going to increase my rewards on patreon. Currently, I translate 1 bonus chapter for every 10 patrons. Starting from July, I will translate 1 bonus chapter for every 6 patrons (regardless of how much you pledge). My regular releases is 3x a week. Today, after I translated a chapter, I took a break and randomly read a book from a bookstore. I read, “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”. It was very inspirational!

I’ll share some of it with you guys here.

4 factors that determine your value in the marketplace: supply, demand, quality and quantity (I’m slower than most translators but I try to compensate by providing better quality!)

To get paid the best, you must be the best. (Okay, you guys aren’t paying me but maybe one day! Perhaps one day someone will pay me a lot of money to translate. Hahahaha. Gotta aim to be the best! Or at least, constantly improve!)

Remember how I taught you the word 要？ It means “want”.

I want = 我要

So how do you say, “I don’t want?”

In Chinese, if we translate it literally, it’s “I no want”

不 is the word for no. You can type it by typing “bu” on the pinyin keyboard.

你不要____  = you no want (literal)______ = don’t be ____ or don’t _____ (basically, you’re telling the person not to do something)

But if we were to ask whether the person wants to do it/wants something, we would say, 你要不要 _________?

The literal translation is: you want no want __________ ? (So the person either responds by saying “want” or “no want” in Mandarin)

We don’t have a word for “Do you….” It’s just ”You ____________”

Are you going?= 你去不去? (there are multiple ways to say it but this is one way)

去 is the word for “go”. You can type it by typing “qu” on the pinyin keyboard.

你去不去 = You go no go/you go or not (literal)

不 = no/not/don’t (there’s no difference in Chinese)

Readlightnovel managed to steal everything again (surprisingly, they failed with 220 and stole the fake chapter). I think I need the fake titles. So I’m going to make a fake title now and see whether they will steal this instead.

Chapter 226: Stop stealing my translations

You know, writing such a long announcement post is very tiring. I think in the future, I might just post MTL translations and wait until they steal that before I edit it and release the actual chapter. I run out of things to say.

Thank you for the recent fb likes and novel reviews! I really appreciate it. Sadly, I’ve only received one artwork submission so far. No one else sent me anything (fanfic, artwork, mvs, etc) Remember, the deadline is June 22nd!

Last chapter was the dirtiest chapter I’ve ever translated in my life. My mom yelled at me and said I was/am corrupting you guys. It’s not my fault! I have already given multiple warnings. The novel is really steamy!!!! But I bet you guys liked it since so many people keeps refreshing/reading it again and again. LOL. I have over 4000 views from that chapter and I’m pretty sure I don’t have 4000 readers yet. 😛

Hmm… this upcoming chapter is really cute. It made me smile as I was translating. Haha. Le Yao Yao is so funny! She is so innocent but not really at the same time. Hahahaha. I think you guys will like it!

We have a bunch of sweet chapters coming up, so prepared to be drenched with honey. There are around 50 raw chapters left before the end but each chapter is soooooo long. I don’t know the final numbers of chapters yet. We have a longggggg way to go.

If you can’t wait, use google translate or whatever tool you prefer. Last chapter ended at 171 of the raws, so you can start from 172. Remember, my version is different since I do massive amounts of editing.
