To my dear readers,
First, I would like to thank Yujung and Sary for donating to me once again! Yujung and Sary have both supported me in the past. I’m very lucky to have readers who are willing to financially support me repeatedly! Thank you for seeing so much value in my translations.
My translation journey hasn’t been very smooth. But, I think the most important thing is to keep going. Regardless of how shitty I feel, I try to translate/edit/do something everyday that will get me closer to my goal (finishing the novel) lol.
Translating has taught me to be very patient. Great things take time and I can’t expect instant results. I know I’m not the best translator out there, but I have some of the best fans!!! You guys are so talented. All the artwork submissions are so pro. Although my real life friends don’t read my translations, they’re amazed by the artwork (since I post it on my instagram) Haha.
I also have readers who are willing to read out my translations FOR FREE and want to promote me to the best of their abilities. Wowwwwww!!!
Anyhow, I’m just very grateful to all my supporters. I know my method of diverting the bots costed me a lot of readers (over a thousand), but some of you are still here! And I’m slowly gaining some new readers. Not to mention, I have almost 300 LIKES on the facebook fanpage now! (I’m at 298 at the moment).
I’ve definitely made progress this past year. =D
Anyhow, I hope wherever you guys are, you’ll never give up!! Work hard towards your dreams and do something daily to get yourself closer to your goals!
If you want to learn Chinese, you should try to learn a character a day (or more). Don’t give up before you even start! Chinese is hard but not impossible.
If you want to learn Chinese (or anything), remember:
- You must believe before you can achieve. If you think you’ll never be able to learn, you won’t take the necessary steps to ever get there.
- Set 5-10 minutes a day to learn/do something that you will thank yourself for in the future.
- Be consistent. Don’t try to jam your head and memorize 1 hour of info in a day and then slack off for 2 weeks. Consistency is key!!! You will remember more in the long run if you practice ten minutes a day for a year.
- Try to put yourself in a situation where you have to use the language. Hang out with people who speak that language. Watch shows that are in that language. Do everything you can to increase your success rate.
- Don’t procrastinate. Do it today! NOT TOMORROW. TODAY. NOW. YES. NOW.
- If you don’t know how to start, just make a list of words that you want to learn. Start simple. For example: today, tomorrow, yesterday, I, you, he, she, they, can, will, go, run, eat, sleep, tired, fat, skinny, hungry, thirsty, and so on.
Okay, that’s it. Come back in an hour for the actual chapter! I wrote all this because I am trying to motivate you guys and also let the bots steal first lol.
<3 you all!
P.S. Please turn off adblock for me!
I get a blog post and a chapter today? I feel so lucky!!! XD
