Plus, I promised 1 bonus chapter for every 5 art submissions (I have 11, so that means 2 bonus chapters). I can’t promise you exactly when they will be released but I’ll make sure to do as I say.

Note: I am very slow at translating. Please be patient. If you are dying, please considered reading my other works on volare. I also translated, “Your Highness, I know my wrongs.” and “Doomed to be Cannon Fodder” (only 6% of the group novel but it’s completed!!) Haha. I have another project called, “Supernatural Girlfriend” that I’m also currently working on.

There are no tenses in Chinese, so it is very confusing for me to translate. English has 12 verb tenses and sometimes I might conjugate them wrong. For example, in Chinese, it’s just “drink alcohol” or “drink tea”. There is no drinking, will drink, have drunk, drank, will be drinking, have been drinking, have been drunk, etc…. so English is very very confusing for people translating from Chinese lol

The full chapter 159 is already released. Haha. Some of you are so addicted that you’ve probably already read it. I will release 160 some time tomorrow night. Lately, I’ve been so drained and tired from translating. Thank you for all the nice comments though. I read them all, but I get lazy sometimes and I don’t want to respond (it takes a lot of time too).

By the way, the bots assumed my blog post was the chapter and stole that instead. So they steal everything automatically and nothing is manually done. Previously, the aggregator site thought my volare relationship post was the chapter, so they’ll steal anything I link here. Since they love to steal my stuff so much, they can steal my blog post. Some of you might not be aware, but I started off as a blogger. I never intended to be a translator. I only started translating because I wanted to lure more readers into reading my blog. Haha.

Here is Chapter 158

No, I haven’t translated Chapter 157 yet. I’m just so tired….

The aggregator sites managed to steal 156 even though I tried to confuse them. (I think I managed to confuse readlightnovel.org though) So, this time, I’m posting this without linking anything. I have a feeling the bots need a certain number amount of words before they “steal”. Last time, my teaser was too short, so they knew it wasn’t the chapter and waited or something.

This time, I am not linking them to anything, so good luck with that.

I’m just going to make this announcement super long so they think this is the chapter itself.

Some of you might think, “Grace, why are you doing this? Aren’t you doing the same thing by stealing the author’s work and making money off her?” In my defense, it is not because I do not want to contact the author and want to hog all the money for myself. If I could actually find her real contacts, I would try to set up something so that we can both make money. For example, I would give 50% of all my earnings to the author if we were to sell ebooks. Because, without her work, there would be no translations. Likewise, without me, there would be no English version (unless someone else translated it).

The problem is, I don’t know which site is the real site. If my stuff is being stolen by 20+ sites, her Chinese version is being stolen by 100+ Chinese sites. So, I gave up the idea of trying to sell ebooks.

Since I am not selling anything (I’m translating this for free. No one is paying me to do it. This means, you get chapters regardless if I get any donations or not. No one is buying anything.), I feel like it is ok for me to translate this. It’s practically volunteer work. I’m retelling the story in another language so more of you can enjoy it.

But when I see the aggregator sites copying my exact translations and making money off doing NOTHING, it drives me nuts.

Seriously, novelonlinefree has already taken over 350k+ views from me (and that’s just one site alone). In fact, it’s ranked even higher on google search than my actual site.

I just can’t accept it.

I know I don’t have the rights to translate the story, but I can’t accept people copy and pasting my stuff either. (I do not copy and paste the author’s work. Translating is so freaking hard, I’m not even joking. Sometimes, I spend 10 minutes translating ONE sentence.)

So, I’m going to keep making things difficult for the aggregators. I know it is very troublesome for you guys, and I do feel bad for giving you false hope that a new chapter is released, but I just can’t let it go.

I have to make it so that other readers from aggregator sites have no choice but to read on my site. It’s either me or nothing.

If they can’t stand me, they can drop the novel.

I know a lot of them want to read on the aggregator sites because it’s easier to read since all the novels are on one site. But if they bookmark my site, it’s only a few extra clicks. It only takes a few more seconds of their time.

I don’t know if some of you are aware, but I pay to keep this site running. I was using the free wordpress before. My original site is liveandlearn88.com. But because I chose to translate this novel, all my ads were banned since the wordads crawlers thought my content was too inappropriate. That is why I had to buy another domain and self host here.

I thought by removing this novel from my previous site, I could get the ads back. But wordpress.com pretty much gave me $0.88 for 100k views and I just gave up. Now, my original site has no ads and I just post inspirational things or some personal experiences on it. Feel free to check it out. I wrote about “The Art of War” & I have posts like “How to tell when a shy girl likes you” lol

Anyhow, I promise I will continue to translate this until Leng Jun Yu discovers Le Yao Yao is pregnant (Chapter 155 of the raws. We’re only on chapter 118… it’s going to take a long LONG time because some chapters are over 10k words…). But I’m not sure if I will have the willpower to finish the novel. I will try, but I don’t know if I would be able to carry on until the very end because I feel like I’m going to tip over any minute.

I’m just taking one step at a time so I can get myself closer towards the finish line.

I know I have a lot of supporters and I don’t want to let you guys down. Thank you for all your comments. I read them all even though I may not respond to them all. Come back in a day or two for the next chapter.

Sorry for making you guys so worried with my previous post. I was too furious and I’ve calmed down. First of all, I would like to thank Maria, Audrey, and an anonymous reader for their donations to me. Thank you so much for your support and all the kind messages. I know you guys really want me to continue and I still plan on translating (so don’t worry).

I have came up with a solution. I will only be posting the teaser when I publish (so I won’t include a teaser anymore). But I will replace it with the full chapter 4 hours after I publish, so those who read from aggregator sites will have to come to my site if they want to read the full chapter.

This means it will be a bit inconvenient for you. When you see my chapter posted on Novelupdates, it will only be the teaser. But I promise I will include the rest of the chapter on the same day so you guys won’t have to suffer for too long.

So $1 per person still counts). I have 19 patrons right now, but I decided to translate 2 bonus chapters anyway, so that’s why you had 4 releases this and last week. Next week, you might get 4 releases if you get the quiz question correct. If I get one more review for the Eunuch is Pregnant or SG on NU, I will release 4x/week for the rest of February. (I’m at 31 for The Eunuch is Pregnant and 18 for Supernatural Girlfriend). I know I make you guys do a lot of work, but translating kills my brain cells so I must make you guys earn it too.
