I picked up a piece of meat with my chopsticks and placed it in my mouth. All of a sudden, Suyang reached over and grabbed my left hand (the one I wasn’t holding the chopsticks with), and wrapped his fingers around my hand in front of Grandmother Meng. He calmly stated, “We have moved in together.”

Grandmother Meng spat out all the food in her mouth. It appeared she had choked; she was coughing vigorously.

My food was also almost stuck in my throat because of Suyang’s statement.

“What the hell are you talking about?” I wasn’t able to gulp down the content in my mouth as I said in a muffled voice. I put down the chopsticks and violently slapped Suyang’s hand to release me, “Can you not scare people like this?”

“You….what did you just say?” Grandmother Meng pointed her shaken finger at me. With great difficulty, she regained her breath, “Her? No!”

For example, in Chinese, it’s just “disappoint”. But in English, there’s disappointed, disappointing, disappointment, and so on. Sometimes, I’m unsure of which to use.

Chinese grammar is so easy!! 我很爱你们 = I very love you all/guys (literal) = I love you guys very much

The word 很 = very (You can type it be typing “hen” in the pinyin keyboard)

我很 hungry = I very hungry = I am hungry
你很 stupid = you very stupid = you are stupid

Basically, we say “I very _________” It is SUPER simple.

Subject goes first at the beginning of a sentence (I/you/he/she/they/name of a person/the person’s title) very  __________________________

So, remember this word! 很很很很很

By the way, starting in July, I’m going to increase my rewards on patreon. Currently, I translate 1 bonus chapter for every 10 patrons. Today, after I translated a chapter, I took a break and randomly read a book from a bookstore. I read, “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”. It was very inspirational!

I’ll share some of it with you guys here.

Remember how I taught you the word 要？ It means “want”.

I want = 我要

So how do you say, “I don’t want?”

In Chinese, if we translate it literally, it’s “I no want”

不 is the word for no. You can type it by typing “bu” on the pinyin keyboard.

你不要____  = you no want (literal)______ = don’t be ____ or don’t _____ (basically, you’re telling the person not to do something)

But if we were to ask whether the person wants to do it/wants something, we would say, 你要不要 _________?

The literal translation is: you want no want __________ ? (So the person either responds by saying “want” or “no want” in Mandarin)

We don’t have a word for “Do you….” It’s just ”You ____________”

Are you going?= 你去不去? (there are multiple ways to say it but this is one way)

去 is the word for “go”. You can type it by typing “qu” on the pinyin keyboard.

你去不去 = You go no go/you go or not (literal)

不 = no/not/don’t (there’s no difference in Chinese)

Last chapter was the dirtiest chapter I’ve ever translated in my life. My mom yelled at me and said I was/am corrupting you guys. It’s not my fault! I have already given multiple warnings. The novel is really steamy!!!! But I bet you guys liked it since so many people keeps refreshing/reading it again and again. LOL. I have over 4000 views from that chapter and I’m pretty sure I don’t have 4000 readers yet. 😛

Hmm… this upcoming chapter is really cute. It made me smile as I was translating. Haha. Le Yao Yao is so funny! She is so innocent but not really at the same time. Hahahaha. I think you guys will like it!

We have a bunch of sweet chapters coming up, so prepared to be drenched with honey. There are around 50 raw chapters left before the end but each chapter is soooooo long. I don’t know the final numbers of chapters yet. We have a longggggg way to go.

要 = need/want (depends on context)
学 = learn
中文 = Chinese

In Chinese, we don’t have the word “to”. So, it’s literally, “You need learn Chinese.”

You should know how to type 你 by now. You can type 要 by typing “yao”. 学 is “xue”. 中文 is “zhong wen”.

I can’t teach you guys the tones but make sure you get the tones correct if you are speaking. If your tone is off, you may be saying something entirely different.

Practice makes perfect. It will probably take you guys a few years if you are determined to learn. Don’t give up so easily. Chinese may seem really hard at first, but if you actually followed my lessons and everything I’ve taught you, you should already know 10-15 Chinese characters. If you learn a few characters a day, eventually, you’ll be able to read. Don’t underestimate the power of compounding effect.

By the way, the Chinese I’ve been teaching you guys is Simplified Chinese. Most of the world use Simplified and the raws are usually in Simplified, so it’s more useful for me to teach you this rather than Traditional Chinese.

In addition, the pinyin I’m teaching you is based on Mandarin pronunciation. It’s extremely useful because it allows you to type on the desktop/laptop/phone. If you’re from an older generation, you might find it easier to write out the words instead of typing. However, for our generation, pinyin should be a more effective method.

The next chapter is even more intense and I do feel a bit concerned since some of you seem very underage. Umm.. viewer discretion is advised. It is extremely explicit. You have been warned.

Next, I’ve spoken to Peter over discord and found out that the reason why no one has stolen from his group’s site is because they got off Novelupdates. Unfortunately, I need novelupdates for the traffic so I can’t get off right now. Their site is completely non-profit so traffic doesn’t matter to them since they’re not earning anything regardless.

Peter said he tried installing the google captcha (I don’t know how to spell it) but it only worked for 48 hours. Basically, if the bots send back an error, they will send a human to go on the actual site to see what’s wrong and then they will program the bot to go around it. Hence, the aggregator bots need something to steal or they’ll come back until they figure out a way to steal everything (That is why I’m always writing such long announcement posts now). I’m unwilling to let anyone steal my translations since I’ve spent so much time on it.

I was actually at the verge of quitting back when I was around chapter 154 (I think?). But I decided since I started the project, I was going to finish it. I don’t want to start something and give up in between.

But, please note I am NOT taking any novel requests. If you want me to translate a novel, you’ll have to hire me. I’m not going to spend another 800+ hours translating something else just because you want to read it.

I know it sounds cruel and mean but I’m just being honest. It takes me way too long and the return I get from it is not worth it. I’m the extreme type where I would either go all in or not bother in the first place. If I’m going to translate something, I put in a lot of time and effort. I could google translate the entire thing and just edit it, but that’s not the same.

To be honest, even if you were to read both “Your Highness, I know my wrongs” and “Supernatural Girlfriend” from the beginning to the end, I make less than $0.14 per reader. Basically, it means I’m broke unless I have thousands of readers. lol

Readers submitted their artworks to me and earned bonus chapters! (They can be found on my instagram account @grace7127 <– it’s public so you can see it even if you don’t follow me.)

This time, I’m celebrating because I’ve reached 2 million views on theeunuch.com Thank you so much for reading on my site! I know some of you don’t want to but are only reading here because I make it so hard/troublesome for you to read on novelplanet/novelonlinefree/whichever site you found my translations from. But if you’re still reading this, it means at least you like the story enough to continue.

Okay, so here are the details:

You may send me an artwork (you can draw almost anything you want as long as it’s related to “The Eunuch is Pregnant” *NOTE: NO BIRDS BECAUSE I WILL POST IT UP ON MY INSTAGRAM) Please write a short description for your picture

You may write a fanfic (I may share this on the fb fanpage depending on the quality). The characters must be from the novel itself. You may be as descriptive as you want (ideally, 500 words)

You may create a music video/slideshow stuff. I WILL DEFINITELY SHARE THIS WITH THE WORLD SO DON’T BE SURPRISED.

You may LIKE the facebook fanpage and write a review on facebook or novelupdates.

So what do you get in return?

I’m going to do a point system thing. For every 10 points, you get a bonus chapter (up to 100 points MEANING you can potentially get 10 extra chapters in July!!!!)

Fanfic = 1 point
Artwork = 2 points
MV/voice acting/roleplay stuff = 3 points 

If I get 300 LIKES on fb = 20 points (so far, I have 163 likes)
If I get 60 WRITTEN reviews (on fb and novelupdates *so far I have 45) = 15 points 

So, what are you waiting for? If you want more chapters, get started!! I will make sure to write down your names and to tally the points once the submissions start coming in.

The deadline is June 22nd! You may participate in all the categories if you like, but you can only submit each category once. This means the same person cannot send me 10 artworks and get 20 points. But if you want to submit a fanfic and an artwork, that counts as 3 points.

Note: A written review gives you 1 point so it’s very easy. Liking the fb fanpage only takes one click!
